How to fix the actual savegame bug yourself

At the moment there is a savegame bug at the game where the savegame is gone if any hardware is changed.

You can fix it yourself for while the devs need to fix it

Do this:
1. Go to the Folder where the savegame files are
This is it for me on Win 10 C:\Users\User\Desktop\HauntedIsland
You can find it also if you press win + R and type in "%appdata%", go 1 folder back and insert in the search field "HauntedIsland".
2. Copy the whole HauntedIsland Folder to the Desktop as an backup ("IMPORTANT")
3. delete the files in the Accounts Folder on the original folder.
4. start the game and click on New game
5. End the game.
6 replace the files in the Haunted Island Folder (without the Accounts folder) with the old ones, open the Accounts folder, there you have now a new .hia file.
7. Copy from your backup folder the .hia file into the accounts folder
8. copy the name of the new .hia file to clipboard and then delete it or rename it that the game doesen't find it anymore
9. use the name of the new .hia file for the old .hia file
10. start the game and it has the old savegame files and you can play further your old game

no problem, this is not a permanent fix but the players can play further as long as the fix is not updated
