Even though I understand why they did it.and why kill Eli in that particular way.
I would have done it differently.
I truly liked Eli,and would like to see valve bring him back some way, perhaps we go back in time with alyx using Kleiner Slow teleport?
I believe going back in time,and saving Eli would be Epic!
Episode 2 was released six (6) years ago. That's three (3) years after Half-Life 2 released and two (2) years after Half-Life Episode 1 released and "episodic content" was announced as the way forward for Valve in regards to Half-Life.
Exactly how do you think most of us who played it at release feel? We've been waiting six years for this "episodic content" to progress. Valve has made a bunch of games in the interim and has said nothing concrete about when they're moving forward with a project they left in limbo over half a decade ago.
You're coming to the table pretty late to talk about how angry you are that the show doesn't go on from there. Seriously.
