Looks like it's a Valve issue then. Classification system is all off. You'd think they'd be more on the ball considering how many people want to play this on all platforms. This is the most anticipated game of the first quarter of 2017. Nothing remotely comes close.

Sorry - it's hard to give an exact time frame since we still don't know what exactly is causing the issue. Rest assured our dev folks are trying to fix it as quickly as humanly possible.

We're still investigating, but it may have to do with the fact that the demo is classified as a F2P app.

As most fans are aware, there's a hidden item that can be unlocked in the demo and can be carried over into the full game. As such, the teaser demo needs to be categorized as a 'Free to Play' Steam application since it needs to be a standalone product that can coexist with the full game. Categorizing the app as "Demo" unfortunately wouldn't work since the app no longer becomes accessible once you own the full game.
Take your time. Do what needs to be done.

The mistake could have happened anywhere, maybe error in clarification what it is or needs to be, maybe someone just selected the wrong tabs, who knows :D

That would require them to literally open up the game and remove aspects, reintroducing bugs. That's not how this works. Your impatience makes you sound terribly ignorant.

Even though it's set to free2play, shouldn't it still work? I mean there are tonnes of free2play games on steam.

Na the issue is just it's clarified as a Demo wich is the wrong one, marking it as F2P Content was forgotten by someone maybe, it's not typical as you may know to mark Demos as F2P Applications, so maybe someone marked it by mistake as a demo

Well thumbs up for being so up front about the situation can't wait to to play the demo
Ozium Dec 18, 2016 @ 6:39pm
this is the same company that just released a private beta for street fighter v on steam and forgot to lock it, making it available for the public, and we are going to blame VALVE for this?

lol

btw it took capcom about 10 hours or so to fix that so anyone staying up to play the demo should just go to bed
