Family member owns this game, how do I own it?

I actually purchased the game in a humble bundle a long time ago but for some reason it doesn't show up for me, it shows up under another account on the same computer. When I go to the store it just says play game and there's no option to own it.

How can I own the game?

The game is free. I should probably be able to play it whenever I'd like but I can't. When my family member whom is sharing with me is playing the game, I can't play this game even though it's free and almost nothing should stop us. Family sharing stops us :(

The game wasn't free once and when you first purchased it, you were probably logged in to the wrong account and locked the game to it. Now, I don't exactly know how this sharing works, but try to unshare it, or whatever, because probably that's what's stopping you from playing at the same time, although the game is actually free now.
