happy end?

i finished warrior's path campagin several times with good and bad traits.

but every time im stuck in the pendulum.

is there any alternate endings i missed?

As far as i understand there are 2 endings, one where you fight the thing (if helping emperor or disagreeing with what ever that thing is) and the second one, if you dont help the emperor and agree to help the thing, you dont end up fighting it and get what seems to be the good ending
