Serious Sam 3: BFE

Dedicated server crashes
Sometimes a dedicated server will be solid and run forever until I stop it. Other times it crashes when I have 16 players or no players on it. And sometimes it crashes and I try to restart and it eats itself. Mmmm.....what a reboot wouldn't do. Memory chomp chomp of never happening (I hate those). It just scrambled my RAM. Yikes. I'm done did cooked. Now I have to wait for others to get off other servers. Not fun. I can post logs until I'm blue but never get any reason why it happened back from the dev team.

Just trying to give a good service to the gaming community and it sucks when things fail out of your control.

I can repeat that all day long unless I reboot. My memory has a huge gapping dead hole in it.
Finished the game on my TSE dedicated and rebooted. BFE dedicated server back and working after I did a RAM refresh. Strange. Lost variable assignments.

Does it crash? Or is it just sitting there at that point in the log? That's the last line you see in the command prompt screen?
The dedicated server just vaporizes. Gone. I search for log files and that's it.

I can start it. It can run either until I stop it or it just flat out crashes and disappears. The log file is just the aftermath of what came of it. Well, besides the log file that tracks the games as the dedicated server runs.

I should say, the time it runs before a crash is a random amount of time but never immediate. Well, except for the trashed memory. Then it was immediate. But that was a crash first.

I run my dedicated servers for SS pretty much 24/7 and do get over 90% uptime but it's just those times you don't want it to crash. Especially if a gaming group is setup to use it and I don't want them to crash and have a bad experience if you know what I mean.

If you guys need more logs or data let me know. You guys rock and this is one of the best of the best games ever. I enjoy it a ton and so do many others. ;-)

And I owe you some game snap shots of possible tuning efforts. I run a tuning team myself. ;-)

I was able to reproduce this immediately after getting the server to crash. Post the contents of your matching Sam3_DedicatedServer-default-27015.rpt file (or whatever port yours is called).
