Serious Sam 3: BFE
Help?
Is there any way to make this game less of a strain on the eyes? Normally that stuff doesn't bother me, but this game is literally unplayable due to the pain it brings.

Can you please explain what exactly bothers you? If it is the FOV, there's a slider in options to change it.

Hard exactly to explain it, best way I can really put it is when I turn and move side to side, look around, ect ect, it just strains my eyes to the point of it being unplayable, many games have had this issue with me, but generally I could just lower a setting to either get rid of it, or make it much less noticeable. One sec, let me go find out what the setting is called can't think of it from the top of my head.

I believe the main thing in it that bothers me is the Motion Blur, I'm pretty sure thats the setting that i'm looking to adjust, i'm sure theres another one, but it's pretty late and I just can't think of the name at the moment.

Edit: Post Processing Effects is another word for it I suppose.

There is no motion blur in this game by default. There are other post processing effects, though.

To see all detailed settings, to to the menu Options>Performance Options>GPU Performance>Customize

You could perhaps first lower the performance setting a bit so the game runs faster, then increase the FOV, and possibly try playing in 3rd person (there's option for that in Game options, iirc).

Motion Blur and Post Processing effects may be different, but both provide the same discomfort to be honest. But i'll give that a go and see how it works, will reply and let you know how it goes, hopefully smoothly as I truly want to play the game.

A good idea may be to turn view bobbing off in game options, that way there isn't so much sway to the movement.
Turn the FOV slider up between 90-110 depending on the size of your monitor. The default is at 75 iirc, which is far too small for a PC game.
