Serious Sam 3: BFE
Why I can't enable the DSR with my GTX 970 in SS3?
Hi :) , i play SS3 in 1080p at ULTRA (obv) perfectly. I thought why not play it in 2k/4k with DSR? I Tried, but the game crash when i set it in graphic option and press "Apply".

This is very strange. What's .NET doing in our callstack? Are you running some kind of 3rd party tuner/modifier app (like RivaTuner, D3DOverrider, etc)? More info and a full log could be useful.

Thank you for the answer :). I don't know... I have .NET Framework 4.5.2, maybe because i recently downloaded a mod in the workshop. I'm going to try remove it (but the mods are not just for the version moddable? )... I usually use Msi Afterburner with RivaTuner but i tried without them and nothing changed.

Just having .NET installed shouldn't be a problem. But the fact that it is in a thread loaded into the game's process indicates possibility that some .NET-based application has inserted a dll into the game's process.

Yes i've understand... what i should do? I tried to reset by the command "cvarResetToDefaults()" but nothing change. I tried also to do a validation of steam cache but nothing change D: ... maybe i must uninstall and reinstall the game

If you want we can try to investigate this, by checking which processes are running on your machine, which dlls are inserted into the game process etc. But, if it is only about trying to play with DSR, have you tried the SSAA option which is built into the game and it does the same thing (renders at a higher resolution, and downsamples)?

Sometimes that i put 2560x1440, after the error because the crash, i wait a few second and game is resumed lol in 2k (what?O.o) but when i try to play a level (Ex: Summer in cairo) the game freeze and i must remove the process...

It's in Options>Performance>GPU Speed>Customize>Supersample Anti-aliasing . Or you can edit some cvars if you want full manual control. Let me know if you are interested, I'll look up the details.

Nothing. I tried to remove Adaptive VSync (by the Nvidia 3d control panel) and MFAA.. but nothing change. Ok i will try with SSAA but i don't know why i can't set higher resolution..
