I think you didn't detect the sarcasm in my post.
Does this mean that all SS games will be updated to use the latest Serious Engine version?

I do love it how Microsoft often shows it's incompatible with itself.
So much Vulkan and Serious Sam goodness, thank you sooo much from all of us here on The World. :3
Thread blew up quie nicely, just like All The Things in SS do!

I suppose they're going to use DirectX 11 or Vulkan only. I don't think they'll do such a thing as 'exclusive content' because SS: TFE and TSE (originals) are part of the update.
Probably, we don't know. It could be way more of a challange than TSE or as close as TFE. I guess that they'll try something like Shadow Warrior 2 but without the 'RPG' elements.
All SS games will be available on windows, macos and linux.
Fusion works on Windows, Linux/SteamOS and OSX. Fusion is a single app that contains TFE, TSE and SS3, including LotB and JotN, all those are 5 "DLCs". There's also VR versions for each.
You cannot buy Fusion or its parts on the store - if you own any of the original games (SSHD:TFE, SSHD:TSE, LotB, SS3, JotN), in flat or VR, you get the respective counterpart in Fusion.
So this will support any combination of game and OS. You can play Serious Sam HD: TFE on Linux using Fusion. Just buy the TFE HD and it will appear as Fusion 2017 in your library, playable on Linux and OSX.
