Game breaking bug

I've encountered a bug several times now that makes it impossible to continue a game. Clicking continue on a turn change banner (the ones that come up when it becomes each player's turn and that tell you how many mil op points you need) doesn't make it go away properly and you can't do anything. Has anyone else had this happen and if so is there a way around it?

I've seen this too. Really frustrating when this occurs.

Can you try clicking on that home button in the top right corner, and then exit and re-enter the game? I can't remember if I've seen this exact bug before that that's helped me sometimes when the game has gotten stuck. It's not an elegant or long-term solution, but I think it should work.
