Starting local game server problem

Whenever I start a single player game on Garry's Mod, it just freezes on a screen that says, "Starting local game server" down by the loading progress bar. How do I fix this?

There currently isn't a way to uninstall all addons, but here's a fast way to remove addons.
Go to the workshop in steam, and go to the Garry's Mod workshop.

There should be something to the right under the search bar called 'Your Workshop Files'.

Under that, there's white text that says 'Your files'.
Hover your mouse over that, and a drop-down will appear.

Then click on 'Subscribed items'. Finally, you should be able to quickly remove all of
the addons that you have.

I've got the same problem, and I think it only happens on certain maps, I'll try this and see if it works.
