Garry's mod crashes on "Find multiplayer game"

This problem started happening just recently. Whenever I start up Gmod, it does it's thing and starts up like usual but when i click the "Find multiplayer game" option, my game crashes and I have to force close it using CTRL+ALT+DEL. Anyone else having this issue, or better yet, anyone know how to solve it?
Thing's that I've tried to do to fix it:
Reinstalled Steam
Reinstalled Gmod
Verified Gmod cache

Same Problem... i have done everything you have and i finally came to the conclusion: Garry needs to hand this whole game over to Facepunch period.

Yep same thing, be nice to be able to play. Downloaded for the 1st time Tuesday so needless to say this has been disappointing.

Do you think this has any connection to CS:S, which also crashes on me. They must be working on a fix?

You must scroll down until you see this guys name,"badgerbush." And at the top right corner of the posts you see numbers. The number is Post 48. NOTE THIS IS A TEMPERALY SOLUTION WILL NOT IT FIX IT PERMANTLY.

same thing happened to me. i bought the game yesterday. it loads and i can play single player, however when i try to load multiplayer i have to end the program

It walks you through how to revert your Steam to June 6th, when the game worked.
Too much hassle for me to bother, but just posting to let people know.

I see i am not the only one with this problem.I think it is a problem with latest update from valve i think that is the problem all we can do i w8 for new update or does some one know what to do

But for now we have to use the web to find us our servers.

This is what I use to find servers all you have to do is click the garrys mod link to the left then click the arrow were it says the ip. and that should open up garrys mod and makes you connect to the server.
