How long is it?

I started today, played half a hour and stopped in testchember 10. how long is it? because I heard there are only 20 test chambers, and I didn't get any achievement so far.

19 chambers, but it's not the end after that. i won't spoil anything. but there is some more after the initial 19 tests.

How are u completing it in 56 min the first time u played it?! Steam showed me that I played 2 hours to finish it and I kinda "rushed" through the levels (just about 30 min for thinking about solutions at all). Really, 56 min sounds more like a speed run..

Anyways, I managed to complete it within a couple hours playing session during a sleepover at my friend's, on the XBOX, so it shouldn't be too long.

I just got the game too and I was going through the chambers fast until I got to chamber 15 that's when it got hard for me and I had to slow down causes I kept dieing

It will roughly take you around 5 to 6 hours to finish the main game on your first run without a guide, trust me it gets a bit harder in the last portion of the game.

I've played portal 2 longer than portal & made it easier to get through it faster than watching videos on how to do it, plus i've played it since orange box was released (not on steam though).

I'll be honest, I find it sad im the only one who knows how to beat it in a short amount of time. heck i got 14 - 15 achievements from a week ago to now & it wasnt hard for me (exept the rocket science achievement).

If you haven't had any sort of experience with the portal series, then you aren't going to play through portal 1 in 56 minutes.

I actually beat the game in 30 minutes tops, i hear the world record for beating it is 25 minutes.
