Lab rat achievement not showing?

When i first got the game I got the duel portal gun but i didnt get the achievement. It only shows in-game but not through steam. Can anyone help me here?

Typing sv_cheats 0 into the console doesn't enable achievements. I have no clue how to enable them. (Edited from my old quote for "progress_enable," it doesn't enable achievements)

Going back to a previous save where you didn't enable cheats or starting a new game (AFTER typing sv_cheats 0 into the console or closing and reopening the game (safer method)) will fix it (at least it did for me :P)
