can't change language since update...
since that ' linux ' update my game is stuck into english only whenever i try any other language it alway stay in english even if in the option and in library propriety its not ?!? should i re-instal the game

ps: i did a game cache checkup

I had this problem too,
to fix this temporarly leave Portal enter Steam right click on Portal and select Preferences and select your Language. Any change of the Settings in Portal will reset the Language to English.

ps: IT WORK ! they changed the location of where the game is installed and now it work perfectly fine

so i tested after to remove beta and it unistalled portal... so i installed it again and now without beta voice remain fixed !

Didn't work for me. Stil stuck in english after switching to Beta then back to standard release.
