I find that when moving with WASD, the game often doesn't register the keys correctly if they are pressed simultaneously. For instance pressing W and D simultaneously may result in vertical or horizontal movement, not diagonal as it should. I'm wondering if this is a problem with my system or if anyone else has such issues....

This is my favourite game.. It needs to be a new more established genre.. I need more. Does anyone know of any other similar games? Or if there's a sequel in the works?

I've tried every suggestion I could find in these forums (starting directly from the .exe, disabling virus protection, disabling Steam overlays, using the Beta build, etc.) to no avail. My PC is just a crappy Dell laptop from 2012, but it does meet all of the minimum requirements to run the game. Plus, every other game in my library does at least start. Would any of you mind trying out the beta version of Flamebreak. It upgrades macOS to 64-bit so it should be compatible with Catalina. There are also some windowing fixes for all operating systems.
