steam overlay isn't working with it anymore, it seemingly worked the first time I ran it oddly enough. also yes, enable steam community in game is checked in options =/

Bumpity - I also can't get the steam overlay to work. As well as not being able to use the steam function for screenshots.

Maybe because I'm running the game as admin and not "regularly" through steam?

Check in Task Manager if GameOverlayUI.exe is running. I noticed it sometimes get stuck and won't close when the game ends.

If it's there although you have no steam game running, then force close it then restart steam, and check if overlay works for Spellforce then.

My fix: I was running the game as administrator - to work around the Cd-key problem - ever since I changed it back to run as "not-admin" steam overlay is working again.
