Black Edition to be migrated to its own appID - issues may occur
Dear Painkiller community,
finally Valve and we have decided to try to solve that issue that Painkiller Black Edition is sitting in the old Gold Edition ID (no idea why this has been set up that way in the past under JoWooD/DreamCatcher). It is now an issue for years and it is heavily overdue. I just want to have you informed that this may create some troubles as it does not seem to be an easy fix etc. However when it is done, you should finally see the game as owned in all the Steam lists - and Valve is now finally ready to take the risk.

I will keep you updated when this is done.

PS: I think the migration is already done now but I am still waiting on the confirmation of Valve. It seems that Painkiller Black Edition is now marked as owned and that it is under its own AppID which is 39530.

Steam says I own the game now and I wrote a review. Looks like it's working!

Great to hear that it seems to be working and that you are finally able to post reviews (thanks for that! spread the love!) :) this is so important to a game and it was really a pity that it was not possible for Painkiller Black as being such a great game. Expecting a final confirmation from Valve at morning Seattle time.

OMG, finally!!! Nordic you are AMAZING!!! Please release also another dlc with the missing levels!!!!! :lovelovelove:

edit. I'm still unable to review from the store page, also no button to review, but i was able to review it from the library.

I noticed that Painkiller still lacks an thumbnail when viewing things like screenshots.

Edit: It has one now, woohoo!

Hey THQ, is it possible to add Workshop support to Painkiller: Black Edition? Mods are super easy to install and are very compatible with eachother (unless they directly change an object or have the same filename).

Ещё на ГОГе (gog.com) в игре есть официальная локализация.
