Start littstar get logo in VR then it just goes black, setting in black room. Cannot see controllers. What gives?

When I launch this on index it briefly shows a pure black scene with white text saying Littlestar, then after a few seconds the text disappears into the pure black scene. Tried unstall/reinstall & multiple restarts.
