I'd like to know it as well, it's cancer. They apparently put it in there so people have access to DLC - but coulnd't they implement it in the actual .exe I wonder? Hmm.. :/

There is no way to disable the launcher, but I hope you guys can see some value in it. Its the most effective way to tell an audience that something is coming up that relates to their game. It also gives you a direct link into support. We have tons of updates planned, like an imbedded support chat so you can get help in real time if needed. We even hope to have streaming capabilities built in at some point.

1. Open the game installation folder. You'll see two executables, "Layers of Fear.exe" (Aspyr launcher) and "Layers of FearSub.exe" (Game).
2. Rename "Layers of Fear.exe" (Aspyr launcher) to something like "_Layers of Fear.exe".
3. Rename "Layers of FearSub.exe" to "Layers of Fear.exe" (or copy it and rename the copy).
4. Rename the folder "Layers Of FearSub_Data" to "Layers Of Fear_Data".

Starting Layers of Fear via Steam will now skip the launcher.
