Below you will find the steps to claim bonus gold and change your game's language presentation.

Claiming Bonus Gold Steps

Fellow Captains,

Claiming bonus gold is a two step process. Since the initial promotion is made up of two amounts: Gold and Bonus Gold.

Bonus Gold for each amount can only be claimed once per amount. However, you can repurchase any of the Gold amounts as often as you choose.

Here are the steps to claim your initail Bonus Gold amount:

Let's say you choose to buy the $1.00 Gold amount which is 500 Gold and a bonus of 500 Gold.

Step 1- Open the Recharge Gold interface. (upper right top of the screen while in port)

Step 2- Select the $1.00 Gold amount and then click "Buy".

Step 3- Agree to buy and pay the $1.00 amount.

Step 4- Verify that 500 Gold was added to your account. (you will be back in port, top right of screen; you should see the amount of 500 Gold was added to your account)

Step 5- Reopen the Recharge interface.

Step 6- Click the "Claim Award" on the $1.00 Gold level to get the bonus 500 Gold.

Step 7- Verify that the bonus 500 Gold was added. (you will now find that you have 1,000 Gold)

Changing Steel Ocean's Language Presentation.

Fellow Captains,

Steel Ocean now offers the follow language presentation of the game:

Chinese (simplified)
English
Japanese
Korean
Russian

Here are the needed steps to change the language presentation of the game:

1- Insure game is not currently running.
2- Open Steam.
3- Go to your Library.
4- Right click on Steel Ocean.
5- Click on "Properties".
6- Click on the "Language" tab.
7- Click on the [drop down arrow] of the select dialog box.
8- Click on the language you want to use.
9- Click "Close" to close the properties window.

That is it.

Steel Ocean will now be in the selected language the next time you launch the game.
