cant get 3rd lens

The first time i played the 3rd level I naturally hoarded all the gears and repicked them up after I used them. The issue is that after going back to that level all the gears are gone from my inventory and they havent respawned on the map making it impossible for me to get the 3rd lens.

you are supposed to take the gear from the room where the vine is blocking the two gears connected to the green door room. Take the smaller top gear in this room before you go in.

I have the same issue. Like tuckerthebana said "they havent respawned on the map making it impossible for me to get the 3rd lens"

Yep, I've got the same thing. Guess you've just gotta play through again. It's a short game and I absolutely love the creativity in the tapes, so I'll just deal with it.

I came here to report this exact bug. I quite like the game, but it's a shame that I'll have to restart just to get a single item, when I've already completed everything else.

Hey everyone, after sleeping on it I figured out a workaround that fixes the issue - you need to edit your save file to reset the cogs.

1) Go to <Your Steam Library>\steamapps\common\Small Radios Big Televisions\user
2) Open the file named "save" in a text editor
3) At the bottom you should see these lines:

room_factory1_c3_COGPEG4698_SOLVEDWITH gearSmall
room_factory2_a6_COGPEG1_SOLVEDWITH NULL
room_factory2_a6_COGPEG2_SOLVEDWITH NULL
room_factory2_c3_COGPEG3_SOLVEDWITH NULL
room_factory2_c3_COGPEG4_SOLVEDWITH NULL
room_factory2_c3_COGPEG5_SOLVEDWITH NULL
room_factory2_d2_COGPEG6_SOLVEDWITH NULL

Delete them and it resets all of these rooms to their default state, so just go collect the cogs again and you can get in the secret room.

There's probably a way to edit the file to make it so you don't have to go collect them all again, by either putting them in your inventory or having them show up in the solution room, but I couldn't figure it out.

You can just find the shutter door, go in it, take the gear and then go back out and into the door above the shutter door.

The doors will still be solved.

Jeez, Hex is my least favorite map.
