I think all the servers are closed now. You're going to have to find a private one.

I am having the same problem I think. Apparently no one is helpful here

Go to the properties tab on the game after right clicking in steam list, delete local content, then re download the game.

i think its because of my system requirements because both of my windows xp computers could not run it
