The only was to get the item was to get Faerie Solitaire while it was free and until November 8. Seeing that this post is 19 hours old and you bought this game you can't have the item.

Question about Subsoap Account answered in another thread (answer is soon).

Now OT: Reddit can be sometimes like 4ch@n (many users visit both sites and just troll), but you can find some subreddits with a better community, for example: /r/Games (Deimorz is a great mod), /r/Borderlands (it's better after going text only), /r/linux, and just because it's more than mildly interesting: /r/mildlyinteresting.

Problem is on Valve's end, they were busy with Saxxy Awards and other TF2 stuff. Wait a bit more, count with additional Valve time.
