Another Egg Glitch

I had just updated to the latest beta which had the Egg Shop. I had found 30 eggs at this point as per what is in the Hatchery. I bought one egg and hatched a prismatic egg which was the Questing Beast. I start playing again and find another prismatic egg. This one overwrote my Questing Beast, so I hatched it again and got a Questing Beast. I didn't think anything was wrong at this point... other than the Hatch'em All achievement unlocking. I grow the Questing Beast to full size. When I go to the Egg Shop to get the last egg, it states "You have all eggs unlocked already". I look at my Hatchery stats and it states I have found 32 and evolved 31. The last spot on page 8 of the Hatchery is still a question mark.

Did I just glitch myself out of hatching the last egg?

I think the bug is that bought eggs can still drop, unlike found eggs. This means that 32 can be acquired without having all the different types - and it's also possible no further eggs will be findable after this point if it's coded as capped at 32 - certainly I couldn't *buy* the last egg when I hit a similar bug.

Nope and the developers don't seem to care so I won't be buying anything else from them and told my friends to pass on the game.

We are still doing work on Faerie Solitaire Remastered so I can't devote time yet to this - I gave a disclaimer about using the beta branch and said to backup saves in case you manage to get an egg to drop after buying eggs before evoving them all.

We do care. We are also a small team with limited time and resources. I want to do a bunch of updates to the classic version not just fix this issue.

The reason why I said the delevopes don't seem to care is because this post was made over a year ago and no one from the team responded to it. Other post about other issues have been made after this post and the developers responed and in some cases even fixed those issues.

The issue had already been brought up in the thread "Faerie Solitaire Feature Requests", and we have been busy with finishing other games.

I have recently put more time into work on this fix and others though, updating a few more aspects of the game so that it be more easily updated in the years to come.

Honestly I didn't think to look for game glitches and/or bugs reports in the thread for "feature" request. The first couple of pages of that thread is people asking for new things to be added or to request changes to the game. The person who orginally started this post was probably unware this issue was mentioned in that thread. The rest of us saw this post and stated we had the same issue. Look I realize some developers don't even respond in the forums but this team is responding so thank you. It just would have been nice if someone had responded to this thread merely saying something like this problem was brought to our attention in another thread and it is on our list.

If you had the same issue then you were using the beta branch and not the main branch. This issue does not happen on the main branch, because it's not possible to use the egg shop in the main branch.

I assumed people who had issues with the beta branch would have looked at threads talking about it where warnings about the beta branch have also been posted.

I am getting the changes fixed and pushed to live a priority right now.

I can't speak for the other 8 people who posted here but my eye went straight to the "Another Egg Glitch" thread because that was my issue and that's why I posted here. Thanks for keeping us posted.
