How do you get this to work on windows 8?

Try emulating Win XP if you want to.

Same problem. Tried everything but it won't run. Perhaps give some driver versions that know to run it? I really don't feel like breaking every other gam,e just to get this one working.

Win 8 is ♥♥♥♥ for games, never go with Win 8 if you are a gamer.

It might not be the version of Windows but your graphics card. From what I've gathered from forums, this game has issues with Nvidia cards. Since you are the best one to know your hardware and to try things on-the-fly, I suggest you check out this thread:

They say something about creating an nvidia profile with pre d3d bits or something. It works for a ton of people and could work for you.

@skulz87 actually I have used win8 for almost a year soon and this is first game I have that have had problems on win8

@Ilammahed thank though but ther is already a thread about that here on steam but that is same, only works for win7 and I have tried it already :/
