Resolution Issue

Okay, so when the game launches it automatically brings up a "Invalid Resolution" type error. I've read through other posts and creating a "display.ini" file with the "default settings" that were posted by players and a dev does nothing to remedy this problem. Running in admin or compatibilty modes does nothing for me as well.

I'm using an LG TV connected to my computer through an HDMI cable and I haven't been able to play this game since I bought it and I would really like to. So any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Also running Windows 7 64 bit.
