Because we need to test the balance and the build at a larger scale, with players of different level of skills. You were happy with the changes or you think some new implementations will cause an issue? COME PLAY and REPORT it to our team.

ANSWERS to FAQ about PTB:

• PTB doesn't save any of your acheivements, bloodpoints, ranks, etc.
  
• PTB doesn't feature the incoming DLC content.
  
• Access to PTB is free.

ACCESSING THE PUBLIC TEST BUILD

Note: This will download an update over the normal build. There is no way to have both builds available at the same time unfortunately.

1. Right-Click the Dead by Daylight Application in your Steam Library
   
2. Access Properties
   
3. Access the "Beta" Tab
   
4. Enter the password "DbdPublicTest" (without quotes) in the Text Field
   
5. Click Check Code
   
6. Select "public-beta" from the dropdown
   
7. Restart Steam (not required, but this updates the UI properly and kicks off the download)

DISABLE ACCESS TO THE PUBLIC TEST BUILD

1. Right-Click the Dead by Daylight Application in your Steam Library
   
2. Access Properties
   
3. Access the "Beta" Tab
   
4. Select "NONE - Opt out of all beta programs" from the dropdown
   
5. Restart Steam (not required, but this updates the UI properly and kicks off the download)
