Is this game abandoned or anyone still alive?

I have the ability to build a version of the game with Mac and/or Linux. Is there any/much interest in this? This work should not impact any development of the project - meaning other planned features are not in flux due to this move.

Everytime I try to start the game I get an Error dialog box stating "Failed to start game (missing executable)." I tried everything on the Support page for this problem but no joy. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?
