Thought this was an NES remake

Just from the title I thought this was a remake of Hoshi o Miru Hito on the Famicom. I'm glad it's not. Easily one of the worst RPGs ever made.

Love potion bug

I give the mayor the love potion, and the dialogue continues until Esmarelda dissoves the potion in my hands. Then it freezes? It's happened twice now, and unlike the Zach bug I can't just reload an old save- I need to do this to finsih Lovey Dovey Island. Help?...
