I don't usually write steam reviews, but for this I have to make an exception.
This is an excellent game.
The community is helpful and active, the dev is responsive, friendly and constructive, and the game itself is just plain good fun. It isn't perfect, there are occasional bugs, and the server has dropped before, but so far, for me, these have been short-lived and very quickly fixed. The linked discord server is also excellent, with good responses to questions from the dev and other players. I have had more enjoyment playing this game, which I paid £1.45 for, than I have playing most of the £60+ games in my Steam library. On top of this, there are lots of improvements in the pipeline, so an already great game is only going to get better.
To anyone even vaguely interested, give this game a go. It is well worth your time.

Having fun, reminds me of Travian. If at any point they introduce any pay to win mechanics I will uninstall.

Server issues (for the one, single server) mean I cannot play.
