Does anyone have this problem and know solution ? I am using Windows 8 64bit and game is on fullscreen. I'd like to make a screenshot but at screenshot it's hiden.

Have you edited options.txt by hand? There's an option to _not_ hide Windows cursor, but it can't be turned on from within the game or launcher. Otherwise, can't really tell what's going on. If I had to guess, I'd say it's some too smart mouse driver or software.

I managed to figure this one out. I run the same version of Windows you are running. I had to go to %appdata%\Trine2, open options.txt, and change the setting:

setOption(inputModule, "UseAbsoluteMouseMode", false)

to

setOption(inputModule, "UseAbsoluteMouseMode", true)

it quote help me, even still have 2 mouse cursor but at least they're in the same place, like doubled.

You could check that the line
setOption(inputModule, "OSCursorVisible", false)
in the options.txt file is set to false. You can find the options.txt file by copying the path %APPDATA%\Trine2 to your explorer.

About what DigitalTemerity said, the option
setOption(inputModule, "UseAbsoluteMouseMode", true)
seems to force the cursors on top of each other. This looks weird to you?

You could also try to change other mouse settings through the options.txt. Let me know if you need any help with this

I hope this was helpful. Cheers!

HI! I have the same problem.

setOption(inputModule, "UseAbsoluteMouseMode", true) made my OS cursor move along with game's cursor, but setOption(inputModule, "OSCursorVisible", false) does not work.

This applies to both my PC and laptop.

OS: Windows 8.1 update 1 x64.

Update:

GOG and HumbleStore versions do not have this problem.

I've disabled steam overlay but nothing changed.

This sounds weird. Have you tried if changing to windowed mode makes any difference?

It seems some users have had same kind of difficulties with other games. For some, it has helped to use shift-tab in game (to bring up the Steam Community) and then hit the Windows key. After that, the Windows mouse cursor has not showed up in-game even if alt-tabbed back in. This is kind of a long-shot, but you could try it?

Let me know how it goes. :)

OK, I just tried to start trine without changing anything from last session and OS cursor was hidden : ). Then I've alt-tabbed and it appeared again.

Windowed mode makes no difference
shift-tab - win - alt-tab combo does not help

Update:

I've found the source of this problem. It was Raptr overlay :)

Thanks for your attention and great game!
