Save Points?

I played the game first time last night through many save points but opened the game and hit continue today I was back at the start of part 2, whats up with that?

Sadly, Trine does not have mid-level saving, the game can only save between levels, which means the times when the map is displayed and the narrator tells more of the story.

This is a technological limitation in the game engine. We fixed it for Trine 2 by spending over a year on rewriting the game engine, but this doesn't help with the original Trine :(

The only thing I can suggest is cheats (basically warping a bit forward) but of course that's not ideal.

Yea that part kind of sucks.
I hope trine 2 doesnt have the same problem :/

Trine 2 has mid-level saving, so no worries there! :)

Same here. Seems that despite checkpoints it always starts from the beginning of the current level. Checkpoints are used when you're in game.

Just finish the level, and when you see the map, and the narrator is speaking, you quit the game.
