Language bias - Japan
Germans speak English with a German account. Russians speak English with Russian accent.

WTH with Japan? Most importantly, we lose things like friednly fire warnings.

What's with the Asian bias?

In the game's audio settings, you can change German and Russian voices to their native languages with the native voices options. RO2 first released in 2011 and they recorded the voices in both languages during development. RS only recorded the Japanese in their native language which is why they don't have an English option.
I almost always play Japanese. Even though I don't understand the language, it's pretty easy to recognize the tone of someone complaining about friendly fire.

I agree. I play every faction with their native languages, and I can pretty much recognize every phrase after having heard them hundreds of times.
I live in Korea, and I find it funny that Koreans and Japanese will type their language transliterated into Roman characters to communicate. Some of the commanders with mics will speak both their native language and English. The only commanders I can't follow are the Russians.

I'm just reasonably sure there are enough people who can translate japanese to english and do some voice overs so there's language balance.
Lets look at the facts:1) Many people dont like Shogun 2 because there not interested in Asians
2) Biker gang in New York beat up and slashed an Asian guy in front of his wife and child.
3) A lot of comments in this forum insult Japanese
4) Women in China and East Asia spend tons of money in cosmetic surgeries to have Germanic features
So there you go, it's a long way for Asian languages to be respected

I'd say a bit of a reach.
1) If you read the Total War forums now, you'd see Shogun 2 is more popular than Rome 2. What? people don't like Italians?
2) A biker gang probably slashes a black guy, an Hispanic guy, and white guy every day in New York. Don't think it has anything to do with Asia or Asian languages.
3) If you want forums that insult Japanese, check out the Chinese and Korean forums. So, again, don't think it's a lack of respect for Asian languages.
4) When you tell the women in China and East Asia that they are westernizing themselves, they think you're crazy. It's like telling a white girl who's getting a tan that she's trying to be black. If they really wanted to look Germanic, they'd wolf down the fastfood.

clarify, Rome I or Total Fail: Rome II?
I think Rome 2 qualifies as Rome II ;)

That 2 was in the other line, I missed that.
I can see that now. I'm still hoping they fix Rome ii, but, well, guess I'll get back to RS...

They won't. Empire 2 aka Napoleon all over again. Expect a finished game for another 60€ in a year. Maybe they call it Ceasar Total war or some ♥♥♥♥ :P
