RO2 SDK Wont Run "Steam is required to play the game"
I dont know why it is not working i have tried every possible solution that i know of and it still doesnt work. I try to start the game and i get an error message that says "Steam is required to play the game" which confuses me because im running steam. All i want to know is how to fix this so i can create a map.

So you've done the reinstall?
Danh Jan 26, 2013 @ 7:58pm
Try this. Make a new txt document in notepad.

cd\
cd /d C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Red Orchestra 2\Binaries\Win64

rogame.exe editor

Copy and pate the above lines. Change the path if needed. Save as "SDK.bat". Let me know if that works. The file format should be .bat

The following steps resolved it for me.

1. Go to folder: \Steam\steamapps\common\Red Orchestra 2\Binaries\Win32
2. Create steam_appid.txt
3. Open it and type: 35450
4. Save and close

if the above solutions do not work. go to your hard drive and delete the RO2 flolder and re-install the game. i know it sucks, but you have corutped files. get rid of them the ols fashioned may. manually.
