How do I make a server

Im not sure how to make a server, its not on the menu.

That doesn't help much...

In a nut shell, you have one real option:

Renting your own server.

RO2 does not actually allow you to "Host" your own game like the older RO's did. There is a process that can allow you to, but there so many steps and things you have to go through, I stopped less than a 1/4 way through and gave up.... it just wasn't worth the hassle and I have no idea if it would have worked in the end.

You can run your own offline match if you prefer (with bots and unranked)

To do this, you can open your console and type the following:

open te-fallenfighters?minplayers=32?maxplayers=32?difficulty=1

^ Then hit enter and you will load an offline match that would be similar to what you would find online.

te-fallenfighters will open up a territory match of Fallen Fighters.
cd-fallenfighters is Countdown
ff-fallenfighters is FireFight

change the map to whichever map you prefer:

te-apartments
te-barracks
te-gumrak
te-station
te-grainelevator

and so on.

setting the min/max players to 32 ensures that you have a standard map like what you would find online. Setting the player count below 32 will affect the available playing area and objectives & make the playing area smaller. Increasing the player count higher can start to affect your system's performance due to having to handle all the bots at once..... if you have a decent system, you shouldn't have a problem.

And difficulty will affect the bot's skills and how much they'll chew you up.... difficulty ranges between 0 and 4 I believe...... 4 being the hardest (Hero Level)

^ This is a good thing to do when you don't want to play online, yet are bored with with SP Campaign.

All I said was that a generalized link to the Dedicated Server Support Section wasn't very accurate in helping him figure out a specific solution. Moskeeto knows when I'm screwing with him.

You make a fine point, Cat. But still, I've dealt with many people just like him and he falls right in line with the Republican mindset. Boom. I just did it again and I don't really care, because I call it like I see it, and Moskeeto is a liar.

Trying to validate your own argument by attempting to invalidate mine is also fallacious, so it hardly matters in this case. I did not drag myself into your trollish attempts to attack Moskeeto, you resurrected a dead thread from two years ago in a lame attempt to drag your argument with Moskeeto around the Discussion Board and attempted to use my post that elaborated in more detail to his post as some example of me calling him "Rude" towards other members.

That was the context you used to reference my post in here and I described your trolling in very accurate detail.

He did that on purpose to be a jerk and to say "here's your sign."

That's your interpretation. He offered a link to a section of the TW forums that specifically covers everything regarding dedicated server operation so he could get all the information he wanted, and more if he so desired. I merely focused on the specific question he had.

Both were helpful in their own sense, with the exception that his post did not help specifically towards the specific question he had (it only helped in other ways)
