Game constantly crashing since update
Ever since the update my game has been crashing literally daily. I've deleted my config, updated punkbuster, checked my settings, and read mosquito's trouble shooting guide. It seems to be a steam side issue. The game crashes on startup if Steam has been running for a few hours and also crashes when I use the Steam overlay. The short term fix is restarting steam, but it's impossible to join off friends with the overlay glitch. Anyone know what I should do?

Yep-er-i-no neighborino. I'm going to do a clean install tonight, but I feel it still won't fix anything, being Steam sided and all.

He means the folder in Documents. The entire folder, not just the config folder.

I did it twice. If the reinstall doesn't work, I'll reinstall steam. Hopefully that'll fix it.

Actually yes! For some strange reason, RO2 would try to install the guides I favorited (as if it were a workshop mod) and would thus cause a fatal error, resulting in a crash. When you subscribe workshop items, they will automatically be downloaded to RO2 when you first get to the menu, which shows the progress of the download in the top right cornor. Before I removed the guides from my favorites, the game would still not crash if it said "download failed" in that cornor. If you're having the same problem, just make sure you don't have any guides (and maybe other things) favorited.

That used to happen to me as well.

Please post about your frustration here:

Hopefully we can get them to fix workshop. They don't seem to quite understand how broken it is.

The more people that complain about it, the more they might take action to fix it.
