...of how to hit all your damn shots at close range with semiautomatic/automatic weapon at close range. Because it happens to me a lot, except I´m in the receiving end getting holes in my body while my shots fly past the enemy.

Get better aim.

1. Increase you weapon level and Class level
2. Always aim down you sights unless the enemy stands right in front of you.
3. Don't go in close combat against weapons with higher RoF, i.e. MP40 against PPSH 41
4. Don't get in position where you depends on hitting the target with a shot from the hips

5. Aim for the legs. The recoil will do the rest.

I'm just plain bad with the automatics, especially at close range. Its like that scene in Pulp Fiction - I unload a clip at someone 5m away and their just a silhouette of bullet holes around the b***ard -- and im level 70 something! Oh well I'll stick with the rifle

Close combat is quite random because the animation is not real, you see a guy facing away from you but in reality he has you in his sights in his screen already.

I love close combat :3 Nothin like a PPSh-41 to teach people a lesson (not really sure what the lesson is, but I gave it to them)

As for the OP, I just use Iron sights and go slow, good reflexes help as well

That only happens if you have a ridiculous high ping. I've never experienced anything like that.
Or the enemy has a high ping of course, cause the hit-detection is client-sided for this game.

Sometimes it is not about your aim, but about the server. Try different servers, see if it changes.
