you can't hide from me!
I found a FOV calculator during my Battlefield days and it said the appropiate FOV for the resolution I play at is 75, I was just wondering if its any different with this game.
Problems with higher FOV, are more strain on video card and also it can create whats called the "fisheye" effect.
Here's why:

Notice the angle at which your own field of vision meets the screen. It's much wider on the PC example. This is why a higher FoV is always better when PC gaming. It's easier on your brain to perceive a believable space within the screen with a higher field of view when PC gaming at a desk.
Check out this video by TotalBiscuit. He really goes in depth.

No comment, Ive been gaming since the late 90s, I dont need a video to tell me about which FOV causes motion sickness....
Not all people suffer from motion sickness, but those that do need to play at higher FoVs to reduce that effect.
EDIT: I myself do not suffer from motion sickness, but whenever I have played games at lower FoVs, I have always gotten an "uneasy" feeling. It doesn't feel natural because it's not an appropriate FoV for sitting so close to the screen.
