Downloaded Red Orchestra 2 for free, but i cant play!

Hello fellow gamers,

Today I downloaded/installed Red Orchestra 2 for free. It said: Download it today and you will have it permanent for free (So i do not have to pay for it). So a few minutes ago i tried to play it but it redirects me to the buying page. Is there any person which can tell me more about this or can give me tips on how to get it working since it said its: ''Free''

It was only free if you downloaded it on Wednesday.

well I started download on Wednesday. But because of almost 10GB of data I paused download and finished it today morning. Now I'm not able to play it :/ so.... yeah it sucks :D

Same problem. I added the game to my library on 24 (it was still free), and started downloading. The game is 22 gigs and my internet connection is crappy, so on the next day it was downloaded, and now I can't play the game. So it's like if you have a crappy internet you are ♥♥♥♥♥♥?
To be honest i have seen this coming...

yeah...sorry...not 10 but 21or 22 gigs of data. With crappy connection I have to keep an eye on stuff what I'm downloading so...yup. crappy connection = you're f***d :(

I could of sworn I didn't download this game until the very next day, I made sure that it was linked to my steam account but I swear I didn't start downloading it until after the free for 24 hours promotion had ended :s

Damn i wish i knew about that on wednsday the only announcement that showed for me was the weekend one :c. i was having a blast and for a begginner i did pretty well
