Tie-breakers. why, just... f'ing WHY!?!?
this has to be the absolutly most idiotic idea i have seen EVER in video games.
so after an intense battle, you manage to hold the last prescious point, the timer hits 0:00 and...
YOU LOSE! why? because the enemy had more kills in the previous round.
they could have just made each round count on its own! no one should lose if they WON!

what's the matter? you may ask, the game is about fun, not about winning.
well, that is true when you are trying to win, but as soon as the attackers win the first round you know they will win no matter what, because even if they lose the horrific "tie breaker" makes them win anyway because naturally they had more points -capping areas gives loads of points-
same is applied to the attackers if the defenders won the first round with a lockdown

so there is no point playing the second round because you know you are going to lose no matter what you'll do

this is the biggest FU*K YOU! in gaming i have ever seen. who is the bloody idiot who thought this is a good idea?

just imagine playing TF2 and when you cap the final point you just get YOU FAIL messege, because in the previous game, that you didn't even take part in, the enemy had more kills.

So, you're making a serious thread for once? Or were your other ones (like the one about jumping or "cute Skero") also serious? Or did you just fool me into seriously replying to another troll thread (seriously, I'm genuinely confused by this)?
Anyways, I kinda agree. I don't even like the round system in the first place. It might be good for organized competetive play, but on a public server I find it to be really annoying. Not only do you get to play the same boring maps twice or even thrice in a row, but due to the slight imbalance described by the OP actually winning and losing the match is borked. I wouldn't say it's the worst thing I've ever seen in a game though, since, again, it makes sense for clan matches or the like, but I find it to be an annoyance non the less.

One round per map, and a random map rotation with ALL maps in it, including custom maps (well, except maybe Gumrak). I'm tired of playing Appartments, Spartanovka, Commissars and the occasional Bridges or Station all day (and at least twice in a row...).

Whats the most funny part is at the end of the twb servers in ro1 most of the maps were changed to 1 round since people were bored of them.

And then noone figured to put it into the 2nd game straight away.

i for one, like the 2-round system, because if you lost you still have a chance to win and redeem your honor.
but it's not an excuse for the horrific tie-breaker. every win is supposed to counted by its own.
and why in the flying ♥♥♥♥ you only get your stats saved only at the end of the second round!?

what the hell were they thinking when they came up with this idiocy? i swear, sometimes i wish this game was made by activiosn, at least they rid their games from unchecked crap like this.

i tested it. checked my win count. won first round in guadal, 5 minutes after the win i checked my stats again, the win count did not change

The win/loss counts I believe are bugged. However, any XP you have gained will be saved at the end of a round.
