why do the russian SMGs suck so bad

so at first i thought that im not doing good with them because i was a newbie.

but after being pretty good at the game and doing very well with all the other submachineguns, the russian ones or disgracefully bad.

to put it bluntly, beyond 20 meters they wont hit ANYTHING, even when firing a single round at a time,
there were so many times when an enemy was standing completly still and despite havin my weapon rested and aiming dead center he still didn't get a single hit.

what the hell? in real life the PPSH and PPS had 100 meters of effective range, very often nazis would replace their mp40's with the PPSH, their inventors didn't get awards if these guns were as terrible as in the game.

and will TWI ever fix this? perhaps this is yet another bug?

sadly enough when i brought this up during gameplay the only response i got is "GTFO BACK TO COD" and "WAR IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE FAIR".

then please tell me how are you able to hit anything beyond 20 meters with this gun, and don't say "just burst fire" i tried that, it still misses all the time

Well, you are simply bad at aiming then. The first time I picked up the PPS right after the patch that introduced it - completely unleveled - I picked of a couple of Germans at around 120 meters. Those were literally my first kills with this weapon and many more followed.

I hopped into the workshop and recorded mowing down some bots with the PPSH at around 80m, which you can see in the link below. Not sure if that helps tell you how to do it, but it seemed like a better example than trying to describe it.

I agree as long as it's level 50. PPSh is still my favorite smg in game.

The PPS is deadly. I find it on par with the MKB in almost all regards.

I find it superior to the MKB in all regards, most importainly because you are not seen using the MKB in the first place.

However the recoil is too high ingame in compare to the real PPSH as far as i know it was made for balance. If you cant handle PPSH try PPS then.
The whole point however is again the same. At first you cant throw a nade propperly then talking about how banzai and bayonets are useless then about smgs. Sounds more like somebodys hands arent straight.

Right click is to aim btw... its really not very hard heh.

The problem is that fps games are always 92% of handling the guns ans the skill require to aim with mouse, but when you make casual games like ro2 which only take 10% of skill all of the people without skill are crying because you have sold a game to them.

as i said before im skilled with all other SMGs and even heavy recoil guns like the Tokarev and BAR, only russian smg's give me trouble. when i as say again, miss even when i aim at stationary targets shoot one bullet at a time.

but you don't care because all you do in my threads is just call me skilless and add nothing to the conversation.

ill try the gun against bots in the workshop, it maybe the stalingrad servers i play on have lag issues

Maybe try creating one topic about "Jolly Jew's Thought of the Day" and see it from there? Maybe start doing YouTube videos from your gameplay with your commentary. I'd subscribe it :)
