Bandages not working?

When the prompt comes on screen, after getting shot in a leg or arm or wherever that isn't instantly fatal, i press Lctrl to bandage, but nothing happens and i slowly die. I havn't been able to bandage yet, and it's really frustrating. If the develepors prompt something onscreen, it should work.

Sometimes your wounds are too nasty for you to have enough time to save your self.

A bullet severing the arteries in your arm or leg is more than enough of a wound to make you pass out and bleed out.

Sometimes every now and then even an applied band aid does nothing to stop the darkness from setting in.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaarkness,yet one time when i used up all the bandages i had with me and got shot another time my character started seeing black and then regained sight as i thought i was dieing instead (i bet it was either the magical properties of the iron cross or the "god save me" cry).

Maybe the shot hit the iron cross and didn´t penetrate your body :D

Oh what about this great idea,when you max out and are Hero level you can choose to use a Full IronCross Armor,you basically cover yourself up in iron crosses and repel low speed bullets XD

I have both an Iron cross and the Guards badge that can be seen on players who have played RO1 and I can tell you, there is no way they will save your life. If it gets hit, the bullet and the medal are going into you now. (The guards pin is really small though, about 6cm tall and 4cm wide)

also check the server settings sometimes certain servers have bandages disabled, maybe this is what you are coming across.

I have had this occur but it was due to server settings where you cant bandage but bleed out. Whereas when i jump back into one of my regular servers i can bandage as normal.
