New Stupid idea "IF" a new RO2 is comming out.

Italian vs British in north africa or the German Afrika forces vs the British in North africa...
What do you guys think, and what is your ideas for a RO2 game that may never publish :)

I don't think desert maps would HAVE to be boring, there could definetly be some interesting villages and stuff to fight in.

It would just be sand dunes over and over. I'd rather see more Germany vs Brits and USA on the western Europe front

why not fight in Italy? you know where they tied up a large amount of german firepower.

Or if it was a desert map, this could be the time where Tripwire fixes up tanks and makes them shine. Things like Tobruk weren't that common, tank battles were what Africa was famed for in WW2.

That idea is a bit overdone, I like the idea of fighting in italy though, I can't think of any game that really gave any consideration of the italians.

mostly because they were not fighting the Italians, most of the fighting was done by the German's.

I agree more focus on maps based on the Italian front would be welcome

yeah why all these desert maps- straight up D-day scenarios would be heavenly... like airborne drops and stuff would be so intense

This would probably be after a different expansion but I don't think I've seen a shooter covering the conflict between the British and the Japanese.

How bout the Australian's vs the Japanese in the Pacific? I don't think I've seen a game featuring Australian soldiers before (If there is can you reccomend one). But I also do like the idea of a D-Day style game type.
