Rising Storm crashing steam

So I have looked all over the internet to see if anyone knows about this problem, but apparently not. It seems that, at some random interval (usually after a little while of playing) the game will hard freeze in the middle of whatever was happening in game, like it was lagging but it just stays frozen. After I ctrl alt delete out of the game, I notice that steam is no longer running and the game isnt responding. Anyone ever had a problem like this/know how to fix it?
