Am I the only one that thinks this should be a thing?
So i think that adjusting the sight for the right range on you gun should have its own unique animation.Up until now it magicly elevates and goes down.I can understand that maybe they thought that this would quicken the prosess and make it more tactical but lets be real here, how often do you change the ♥♥♥♥ing range ?Most kills happen within a range of 100 and 200 meters and only once in a blue moon ever hit over 400.So i think that having an animation for it not only would make it more immersive and realistic but would also pose no hindering to the players. But i guess having that fancy mg42 as a second choise in case the german gunner gets bored of his already overpowered mg34 is more important....

The adjusting is pretty much useless,i'd prefer more bugs/glitches fixes rather than a new animation that gets used once in 2 hours match.

At in-game ranges that is kinda silly. Adjusting sights out to about 400 meters for a bullet drop of no more than two to three inches hardly matters. Rare day in hell you can even see 300 meters in this game, and it's 600 to 800 meter shots that could use a little ranging with gunsights. A waste of time when so many other things could be improved.

I'm quite happy with the curent range adjustment in game (wish it was used a little more, but still). I for 0ne, would much rather see more content aka the light tanks :D

The fact that they put in sight adjustment is a marvel in itself. RO1 didn't bother with it; you just had to guess and fire based on estimation, which you still have to do to some extent.
