Keeps crashing

Hi
i have been polaying this game for over 1500 hours
but evry day this week it gets to a game ,start playing and then crashes?????
why
what can i do
always had the occasional crash but 3 or more evryday now
any ideas
i have tried playing the safe servers that i have played for ages but they crash as well

Does it DC from internet or what exactly happens? If its i-net, I could solve this by setting my Steam ping limit in settings to 500.

yes the game Dc( i assume means disconect??)
but not steam just the game crashe
so what do you think,,how do i change my ping?????

just loaded the game started playing and its crashed somebody help me

Well I had a different problem, no real crash but an overall internet DC. You can change ur ping limit within "Steam/settings/ingame". Might help. Otherwise it could be anything, try validating files or something.

The most common cause of this is corrupt files in the user directory or
missing prerequisite files. Please try the following:

1) Delete your documents/my games/red orchestra 2/ folder directory
completely
2) Running the RO2redist.exe located in your SteamApps/common/red
orchestra 2/binaries/windows location
i have done the first bit ,dekletted files but dont understand part 2
i have tried the game and it has not crashed, so i live in hope

part 2 means, go into your hard drive, go to steam/steamapps/common/redorchestra2/binaries/windows and run the RO2redit.exe program in there.

how do i get into my hard drive???
i have done the first bit and it seemd fine but i changed the video setting as i had no colour and now its crashing???

ok found the hard drive and documents but no RO2 redist exe any help please

it's in here. steam/steamapps/common/redorchestra2/binaries/windows open these folders. when you get the last one open (windows) it should be in there.
what video setting did you play with? set your video resolution to match your monitors native resolution.

i have gone through like you say to get to window32 click on it an it say "this folder is empty"
so what now and again thanks for your help
