Do I keep my earned points if I leave the game early?

Like it says i'll unlock lvl 5 for a class.

Does that go away if I leave the server before it finishes? At what point can we leave and still keep the points? , only when the scores are tallied up?

I think you can leave when the server is changing maps.

After the map ends, and the points are tallied up. That's when you can leave and keep your levels.

Yes, it will go away. That's why there's a warning message when you try to disconnect from servers. I could have sworn that you could leave after the 1st round was completed (to be sure, I would wait until just as the 2nd round's spawn timer starts), but I could be wrong. You can leave at the end of the map and still retain your points, of course. To be safe, I'd wait until the end-match point-tallying appears and you "Okay/Next" your way through it. Hope that makes sense?

I typically wait until the next map starts to load and exit with F10.

it was at the map's end to begin with, but so many people complained, they decided to make it at the round's end. you don't need to wait till the next round starts or map change. that's not even fair to the other players. as soon as you see your score, you're good.

Ya that map is really long.
But when you have two really good teams its very fun.

It's a drag that Bridges can be so long, yeah, but if you play well you can really rack in a lot of points. Plus if the attacking team is particularly bad, lockdown can end things quicker.

Steamworks requires you to be the in server when we send off stats to the Steam backend. Due to how heavy that load can be we do not do so in the middle of play and only send that off at the end of the round (so the server in not impacted by the sending of that information).
