Game isn't starting...
I'm running ArchLinux 4.8.13-1 and cannot get the game to load. I don't even get an error in the terminal when it crashes.

So the mouse curser can be seen and sound seems to lock up and then it sits for a few moments and closes it. If I can make an error appear. The issue is fairly simple to reproduce, since every time I've pressed play this is the end result. I'm going to try running it from the folder instead of steam and see if I get an error that way.

Has anyone else run into this? Did I miss something on the forums?

/dev/input/js0: open: Operation not permitted
>>> Adding process 19446 for game ID 352890
Game removed: AppID 352890 "Caravan", ProcID 19440
No cached sticky mapping in ActivateActionSet.

Is the only "error" I see, I now have a window stuck open that won't close for the game, gave it some time to see if it would load, but it's still just black.

Hello Requiem Arrow,

unfortunately only Ubuntu distributions are officially supported (Ubuntu 12.04 and 14.04 - see requirements on shop page).

I figured that was going to be the case, that's alright, I'm buying a Windows machine in a month or two, so I can play it then.

The thing of it is that it is simply not loading. The game starts up, even music starts, but then it cuts out and crashes. Is there a crash log or something somewhere I can try to coax a forum for help on what could be causing the issue? Obviously your forums aren't going to have support for my OS, which is fine...someone out there has to know what the problem is.

I suppose I'll take to looking that direction for a little while and if I find anything, I'll update the post to help out others who aren't running Ubuntu, since Linux has so many versions.

Thanks anyway.

edit: The downside that I'm seeing here is that there is no crashlog or somethiing I can at least reference what the issue is to see if I can do something about it myself. The error I'm getting that's above is relating to a joypad, so I don't think that's actually what's causing the crashes, but there is definitely something causing the game to not load...oh well, guess I wait to get the new computer and try the game then.
