The game crashes on the first screen when I clic to start the game

I have Windows 8.1 x64 and Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition

Don't know what to do ..

(I already verified the game integrity via Steam and it sais OK)

Here is the SOLUTION :
There is a problem with steam savegames in the cloud.
Pallado proposed the solution here : http://steamcommunity.com/app/35140/discussions/0/630799997547668382/

I quote :
"Start the game, use alt-tab, delete the 35140 folder in "Steam\userdata\<userid>\" if you're playing Batman Arkham City GOTY Edition, go back in the game and create new saves.

If this does not work, I don't know what will..."

In my case, there was not saved game in Steam\userdata Folder. It was in \Document\Square Enix.

I deleted all \Square Enix Folder and relaunched game and it worked.

I tried that but the folder is created again when the game launches

I contacted WB support and they said that they won't be able to help troubleshoot the game because it is too old.
